The Institute for Excellence for Africa offers programs to address fundamental challenges in society. A key to change is the development of individual and collective consciousness so that it displays full creativity, intelligence and harmony.
Without this fundamental awakening of human potential, the provision of mere economic assistance, infrastructure, and social systems will not be effective in solving the problems of poverty, sickness, conflict, and suffering found throughout Africa.
The initiatives the Institute and its partners promote include:
- Consciousness-based education to awaken the full potential of every individual
- Training local teachers of the TM program
- Sustainable organic agriculture
- Treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Natural prevention-oriented healthcare
- Balanced and fair economic development
- Cultural integrity
- Creating and sustaining peace through group practice of the TM and TM-Sidhi Program
The Institute works closely with national and local leaders to develop and support programs in South Africa, Uganda, Ghana, Senegal, Kenya, Mali, Togo, Benin, Tanzania, Cote d'Ivoire, Botswana, Ethiopia, Mozambique and more.
